Summary: To make an important day Locus shares something more precious to him than his riches. But hopefully he can cheer Felix up first.

So I’ve been given a bit of permission from the co-author to expand this universe a little. Here is your first taste of that. Many of these sidestories aren’t necessarily going to focus on the Lolix plot of the main story, but rather on other characters. But here, at least, have some Lolix. Dedicated, of course, to my lovely co-author.

So we end it. I might revisit later for another few scenes on the sides, but this is how we come to our end. We hope you enjoyed it.

It really was going to end at eleven. And then I realized how long that would be. So here, have this instead. More to come soon enough.

For my rewritten and missing scenes meme for the 900 followers celebration, an anon asked for a scene in Dolce. They asked the Lily actually out Felix. After consulting with co-writer we decided this was what would happen next.

Fic Request: Okay so for the requests thing, can you take whenever Locus has to book Felix in "Dolce" and write about whats going through his head?

The invitations always show up in ridiculously fancy envelopes. The paper they are on is at least hundred pound stock, with the letters pressed into them and then filled in with gold leaf. And the language was so sickeningly flowery that Locus could guess at the specific wording depending on who specifically was supposed to be having a party soon.

They were always a burden, these events. Always a drain on his precious personal time, and it was frustrating when people sent them to him. As if he would be impressed by another boring evening of ‘exquisite’ food and 'mood’ music. As if he cared about people looking for excuses to wear their good dresses and put on their best jewelry and flaunt the absolute waste of their wealth.

And yet…

And yet as he looked at the silvery envelope and knew what was inside Locus couldn’t help but think about the play. The act. The lie he performed more and more often. More and more eagerly. Think about the beautiful man with soft brown eyes and lips that either curled in warm, civilized delight, or cut in vicious disdain. That man on his arm, as his companion, as his entertainment, made it all worthwhile.

“Doyle,” he said, pressing the intercomm that would connect him to his secretary. “Make the call. It seems I have a party to attend.”

He could control himself.

And who knew… maybe he could even believe that.

And the other half of that day. Ultimately it came out to over 13k words. The split was the right choice.

I’m hoping the next one doesn’t takes so long to post because I’m already quite far into the editing. This and part seven were originally one portion, but it was getting too long and to a size that Tumblr has problems handling.

Sumary: Felix is the best at what he does. And Locus only ever pays for the best.

Just a ‘little’ story I co-wrote with an amazing person that explores Lolix in a different sort of way.
