This time we get the other side of our mystery situation. Time to meet Marcus York, our wonderful single father with a best friend who only wants things to work out for him. And if you want to support me, there is always likes, comments, reblogs, directly messaging me, and my Kofi account.

Another chapter already. Now we get North’s twin and CT joining us. North is pursuing his personal mystery with a serious focus, mostly because it’s a nice distraction. Is he going to see the man again? Of course, it’s a story and there is no plot without more encounters. And if you want to support me, there is always likes, comments, reblogs, directly messaging me, and my Kofi account.

Where Are You Going? - Part Two )

Summary: Nic “North” Draktos is a nice college guy with hopes of becoming a teacher and maybe a published mystery writer. Perhaps that means he jumps at strange goings-on that probably aren’t really mysteries. Yet there’s this one guy he keeps seeing around campus, and he doesn’t know what to make of the guy. And the ‘mysterious’ Miles ‘York’ Cunningham? Well, he’s just an overworked, probably slightly overpaid guy working his hardest to support him and his younger brother after their world fell apart a while ago. But together they might be able to solve the question of where life goes from here.

Well this sure turned out to be more than expected. I promised myself I wouldn’t start something new. And yet here we are, something new. I have no clue how long it will be. I just know I’m exploring this.Where Are You Going? - Part One )

I continue to be. Today was fun, what with the writing. I’m doing it while the husband plays Mass Effect: Andromeda. Loving that. Anyway, feel free to jump over to Ao3 to comment, send me a message here, or even use the new Tumblr messenger. Or, if you’re feeling really generous and supportive, check out my donation link.

At last, the final of the 5k giveaway fics. I did it. Yay! This one is for @narrev who wanted North to get Sigma. And they wanted Norkington in there. I spent so much time building up why North got Sigma that the Norkington may not have been as developed. Sorry. This felt really right.

Par Three

Summary: North never should have let his boyfriend plan today. There was too much riding on their first date with Washington for him to accept such a… frivolous first date. But maybe it would turn out better than he suspected.

So this sort of thing was suggested/requested by I don’t remember who in thep past. Finally got around to it.

Summary: Before he was an Agent of Project Freelancer, he was a damn good sniper that got himself into trouble. The job change was a degree of protective sibling syndrome.

This is a prequel to my For Every Action, A Reaction series, and will soon be followed by one more installment: Becoming: Washington. I hope you enjoy this in the meantime.

Becoming: North Dakota )

A Halloween party.

Note: Thanks for sticking with the story for so long guys. I wanted to say that at the moment I am exhausted and burnt out with Relocation and so will be taking a bit of a break on it for a while. I have discovered that forcing myself to put out massive word counts on this when this drained on the story is far from good for it or myself. Thus I’ll be taking a break on Relocation, at least until January, due to sheer need. That being said I wanted to make sure that I got the important Halloween related stuff finished for the holiday, so you do get this. Hope it satisfies.

Welcome back North, just in time to hear things he’d rather not. Also, to spare time and massive amounts of effort for me in the future, I will be changing how I share links to previous chapters. I have a consolidated list of the story with all chapters below, so I may as well use the page.

Relocation - Part Fourteen )

Summary: There is something wonderful about costumes. A decision of who you’re going to be and how you want to represent yourself. And when your girlfriend is talented with a sewing machine, anything is possible.

Costume Making )

Summary: York promised North a real date. Bringing take out didn’t count. But cooking for your new boyfriend, surely that does. What’s the worst that could happen? A sequel to Raise Your Glass.

A First Date )

Summary: Friday night he was here, sitting in the same damn bar, perched on the same damn stool, and sipping the same damn beer. At first it made sense. Carolina had broken up with him. They’d known each other since high school and the woman had been perfect. But now, after all this time, maybe the same old thing isn’t enough.

A prequel to Raise Your Glass.

This story and the story for South Dakota (Hardened by the Years) are written in tandem. Each chapter between this and that is paired and centered around the same event, with different points of view and bits of info. Best read by reading first the South chapter and then the North, and so on like that.

North and South’s stories are very entangled with each other, but each time we’ll be starting with South’s part, and following that with North on the situation.
